NB Linnet is a charming tug style narrowboat. At 50ft in length she is able to cruise the whole of the inland waterways network with ease.

The open plan layout internally gives a wonderful sense of space and the internal accommodation is modern & cosy having been finished to a high standard.  There is a 12kw wood / coal burning stove with separate oven section for cooking and space heating. As well as the traditional stove there is an LPG cooker and hob for all year-round use.

The boat has a large sociable tug deck externally to the bow with space beneath for storage.

A boat that would be suited equally to those looking for a robust and spacious liveaboard or a very capable leisure craft which could be used for occasional or extensive cruising through all seasons.

The boat benefits from a traditional stern with a tug deck to the bow which is also home to the gas locker.

Entering the boat from the tug deck on the bow there is an open plan layout through to the galley. There are some shelving either side of the steps into the boat and a click clack sofa bed with a tv mounted opposite under the gunwales. Prior to arriving at the galley there is a multi-fuel stove with large oven section, excellent for utilising the heat from the fire to cook on during those colder days, whilst keeping the boat lovely and toasty warm.  The galley features a sink with mixer tap, LPG cooker with 4 gas rings , 12 v Fridge, cupboard storage, two side hatches and wooden worktops.  Additionally there is a fold out wooden dining table and chairs in the galley providing a comfortable dining area.

Moving into the walk through bathroom there is a vanity unit with porcelain sink and copper taps featuring industrial style rose valve faucets, bath with shower over and tiled surround, porta potti style cassette toilet and carpet  flooring.

To the rear further there is a double bed with pigeon hatch above and under bed storage space below  before reaching the traditional “boxed in” style engine room before exiting through the rear of the vessel at the stern.

The boat has six  porthole windows, with two large coach windows in the saloon. Linnet has  a Victron inverter charger with new 4 leisure batteries and 1 starter battery, together with two 265W solar panels Hot water is provided by either the engine or calorifier.

The boat safety scheme certificate is valid until 2023 and a recent survey from August 2020 is available for inspection when viewing. The boat was last blacked in August 2020 (note: it is recommended that any buyer commissions their own survey as they should not rely on a survey prepared for another person).
