Norton Priory

Please note: Norton Priory will be operating out of Bollington for pickup and collection.

Norton Priory is the newest boat to our fleet and is operated out of a neighbouring mooring in Bollington. The boat has three cabins, two bathrooms and as with all of our boats, features a large rear deck known as a cruiser stern.

Having diesel central heating and the flexibility to have the cabins made up as either two single beds or a double bed, the flexibility offered makes this boat fabulous for families.

An excellent boat to explore the Macclesfield and Peak Forest canals or go further afield and around the Cheshire Ring or up onto the Caldon Canal.

If you have any questions about this or any of our boats or boat hiring generally please feel free to contact us via our contact page, by phone on 07901 588 364, email info@floating-holidays.co.uk or to check availability and book your holiday check our booking page

Boat Layout

From the rear deck you enter the galley (kitchen) which is fully equipped for everythiing you need on your stay and just beyond is the open plan saloon (lounge) where you can relax in comfort and socialise after a busy days cruising.  The saloon also converts into another additional double bed if required. Beyond down a short corridor is the Head (bathroom) which is large and spacious and has a shower as well as toilet and basin. There are three cabins as you progress forward and an additional toilet. The cabins are all able to be setup as either two single beds or one double bed depending on your requirements.

Pet friendly

We offer pet friendly holidays, they are part of the family after all. Feel free to bring your feline, canine or other pet along with you.

Swing bridges and locks

You will encounter some obstacles such as locks and bridges along your route, don’t worry you will be fully prepared by us before leaving. Why not watch the boaters video to get a good idea ahead of time of how to handle a narrowboat?

Comfy and cozy cabins

A perfect boat for a family get away break, featuring three cabins and two bathrooms. All the cabins can accomodate either two singles or one double bed layout.

A living museum

The canals are truly a wonder of engineering! Built some nearly 300 years ago without a JCB or hard hat in sight. A true testament to the men and women involed in its construction.
